What is mickey andrews?

Mickey Andrews is a former American football player and coach. He is best known for his tenure as the defensive coordinator for the Florida State Seminoles football team from 1984 to 2009. Andrews played college football at the University of Alabama and later went on to coach at various schools, including the University of Alabama, Livingston University, and the University of North Alabama.

During his time at Florida State, Andrews was known for his aggressive defensive schemes and his ability to develop top-tier defensive players. He helped lead the Seminoles to two national championships in 1993 and 1999 and coached several All-American players, including Deion Sanders, Derrick Brooks, and Terrell Buckley.

After retiring from coaching, Andrews has stayed involved in the football community by working as a consultant and giving motivational speeches. He was inducted into the Florida State University Hall of Fame in 2012.
